    That's not normal at all, I'm no expert.. maybe scale rot? or burns?

    What's your set up?

    What was the previous set up? Substrate? How was they heating it?

    Now what substrate are you using and how do you heat the enclosure?

    The one on the back looks like a rat bite to me. The head could be the same...its hard to tell from the pics.....answer the others questions for more help

    Sorry it took so long i just got back from work to heat the tank im using a UTH, and using aspen shavings as substrate

    How do you monitor your temperatures? And do you regulate the UTH with a T-stat?

    A friend of mine came over and looked at her he says its scale rot so we gonna start giving her treatments tomorrow

    oh ok? but still how do you monitor your temps? and do you regulate your UTH?

    Also if its scale rot, I'm sure you'll need to switch up the substrate to paper towels/news paper.. and make sure everything is clean not wet etc..

    You need a thermostat to regulate your heat source.
