    Breaking news....
We've had a stray cat in our basement for a couple of weeks, and we haven't been able to capture it with a Have-a-Heart trap. I called Animal Control, and when the officer looked behind a ledge with a mirror and flashlight, she found GINGER!!!!! [emoji216][emoji216][emoji216]. She's alive!

Our house was built in 1893, with lots of nooks and crannies. Ginger is in between the walls in the plumbing system. I have 2 plumbers trying to get her out now. We'll have to take down 1 wall to get that naughty snake!

Cats can fit in surprisingly small spaces for their size. If they can fit their head into a space, they can fit the rest of their body due to how their clavicles work. This does depend on the cat not being super tubby, though. ;)

You didn't need that wall anyway thats what Ginger thought lol Im so glad you found her and she's ok, I would watch her breathing just to be sure that an RI does not happen.....And we need a picture of this new and upcoming escape Artists.

I got lucky! Marty, one of the plumbers has snakes, and was sympathetic to my cause to rescue Ginger!
