I Doubled my Collection this weekend...

Last week I saw an ad on the local Craigslist from a guy wanting to sell his collection of 14 Balls. I called him to see what he had in case there was something I'd be interested in adding to my collection of 12. There was a couple I was interested in and asked how much he wanted for the 3 or 4 I wanted. He said you don't understand I want to sell the entire collection at one price. The collection included 3 Nice home built Snake Racks already wired up with Heat Tape, all the water bowls (about 20), hides (about 10) & tubs (about 25), 4 T-stats (Hydro Farm) and the BP's are
1 Male Calico (301 grams),
2 Lesser Males (492 grams & 1228 gram Proven Stud),
1 Lesser Female (809 grams),
2 Pastel Females (1201 grams & 3 lb 9 oz),
1 Champagne Male (1122 grams),
1 Lemonblast Male (596 grams),
and 6 Normal Females from (2 lb 6 oz to 6 lb 3oz, 2 Proven).
All for the price of $600. The deal was just too good to pass up so I pulled the Trigger on the whole thing.

What do you think about that ? I'll have to take some pics and upload them sometime when I get a chance.

I'm considering tripling my collection soon. But I only have one snake so its not that big of a jump lol. I bet once you hit 10 more is no big deal though lol. I have a weakness for sales, so I agree too good a deal to pass up.

that sounds like a sweet deal to me! u got a little bit of everything - breeding size BP's, proven BP's, husbandry stuff, etc. etc.

and u got racks on top of all that stuff?! wowweee!

now u just need to post pix to prove that it happened. ;)

I found a super pastel het axanthic and a lesser het axanthic for good prices. Then I found two heat mats, two water bowls, two heat lamps, a hide, 2 large cork bark pieces, a temp gauge, mite away, and shed spray for $50 on Craigslist. And the heat pads aren't the cheap zoomed pads either, so that's a huge deal in itself. I took that as a sign X). Just waiting to hear back from the breeder on some questions I had.

I would say you came out way great on that deal.
You basically paid for the 6 normals and got everything else for free. :gj:

That is a great deal! Especially with those morphs. If everything is healthy and the equipment is in good sae working order, you hit a jackpot for sure.

I bought a Mini Fridge Incubator about a month ago all set up and ready to Go for $50.00 on Craigslist also. I'm hoping to get several Clutches of eggs in it in the upcoming months.
