Oh that poor sweet little baby. How can someone just leave their snake behind like that? It makes me so mad!

Thank you for taking him in so he can get the help he (or she ) needs and deserves!

Not tape solid scars from a rat and I dont think it nose rub I think it from rat bite. Missing tip of tail from bad sheds. Might loose the one eye from so many sheds and a possible infection.broken ribs in two spots.....I might be spending all of my expo money but this snake deserves it.

On fauna there's a thread where a woman received a snake whose ribs were broken during shipping. If you can get past the drama - it's in the BOI - you can read what she did to help the snake recover.

http://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/08...c286e54cf6.jpghttp://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/08...4f66c71f4c.jpg 7 broken ribs that have healed already did a culture for ri to be safe. We think the wezzing is from its face injuries l. The eye looks like it was pushed out from head trauma. We have eye drops to keep it moist. Overall doc said she not to bad for what is has been through... let her settle in for a week and im going to offer food and go from there... doc said to keep the meals on the smaller side because of the ribs. Im glad I found it when I did hopefully she will turn around and wont lose the eye.

    Wow. Poor critter.

    A. Pretty neat to see the xray, not that the snake is happy but I have not seen an xray of a bp. Having that many ribs I bet having two broke still sucks!
    B. Glad things are working out on the shed and hopefully she will get dialed in and recover.
    C. I didn't even see the pipe in the first pic until someone pointed it out. I live in Washington and it's legal here so no judgment from me!

Good on you for taking care of the animal. keep us posted and good luck.
