    Female Clowns.. where??
I've decided that I want to pick up a female visual clown.. but I'm having a heck of a time finding anyone that has them available! I've looked at numerous websites with no luck. Are they really that hard to find or am I just looking at a bad time? Nobody has just a regular female clown right now it seems.

It's definitely the worst time of year to find anything. Many people are hatching clutches right now, but the bulk of 2015 animals won't be available until a little later in the year.

    DAYTONA!!

Also, clowns are still a highly desirable morph and recessive and females especially so. I would expect to see much less in the way of clown females available just because.

I'd love to find one myself too, but the prices are probably still going to be a bit out of my range.

I've seen way more males available than females. I've seen some females, but I really can't do 1k for a snake. If I can't find one a bit cheaper than that later on in the year then I'll probably see if i can't prove out my possible het with a visual male my buddy has.

WOBP lists Clown as a recessive trait, so it's easily possible to pick up an animal that's Het for Clown... I think the clarification was that they want a visual Clown over one that has the gene but doesn't display it. :)

I have a monster het clown male. No females, although some of his poss het clown female offspring proved out. For someone else. I'm still slapping myself for not just holding one back.

Anthony at Conley Herps has several girls, I just saw them last weekend at the Charlotte Repticon show and they were all beautiful. I would have taken one home myself but I have to wait till November before I can pick up any new snakes as our new house won't be done till mid October. Anthony is a great guy too, I have 2 snakes from him and they have been healthy and eating machines.

Conley's Pastel Clown girl is AMAZING. Out of my price range, although it's not overpriced, but amazing. When I see snakes of that quality being produced by another breeder, it always encourages me to work harder myself.

That pastel clown girl is gorgeous, but so are the regular clowns. Not bad prices either. Thanks for the link. :)

I just got in a male clown from Anthony on Wednesday, and it is an awesome animal, very alert right out of the box. I would recommend Anthony to anyone.

Anthony works some quality genetics which is why I wouldn't hesitate buying from him again.

Was it that really reduced pattern male? He was gorgeous, I asked Anthony at the show if it was perhaps a Blade Clown when I saw it but he insisted it was "just" a reduced Clown. LOL
