A lot of drama went into deciding on these two and in the end the decision was really made for me. They're going to be a big boost to my future breeding plans. Introducing Sally and Washington.

    Meet Washington, 98g Male Lesser.

And Sally. 267g Pastel Yellow Belly Female. Gotta love her eye color!

They've had really long day and will be given a week or so to settle in before more pictures.

    Thanks for looking.

Washington was out cruising this morning. Couldn't really tell it if was stress from the move or what, so on a hunch I offered a f/t hopper. Nailed it! Nice to know he's settling in already.

I like the pastel yb. That was the very first BP I ever so I'm partial to that combo. I've got 5 in the collection now. You gotta grab more girls

That's the plan. I figure 2 or 3 nice 2-3 gene females will get me started. Nothing recessive because I can't pair it. The short list is a Mojave Enchi, Lemonblast, and maybe a Champagne something with a genetic stripe, or Mimosa Ghost. Het something might be nice down the road. Bumble Bee would not be bad either. Repticon is in November and I plan on seeing what I can find there. I'd take suggestions if you care to share.

Sally is a handful. Never seen a python move this fast. She makes a break for it every time I open her tub for maintenance. It's like trying to catch a wild Garter Snake. I know she's stressed because she's been sleeping on top of her hide. I swapped them both out today and she's in one now. Hopefully we'll turn a corner soon. She did feed for me Sunday, so that's good. Hopefully she'll take another tomorrow when I feed the rest of the crew. At least she has not tried to tag me.

    Hey Dave,
What did you decide on that Mojave female?

I decided my wife would kill me if I brought home another snake....this week. In all seriousness, I don't think that she's going anywhere. She's a nice 1900g girl for sure, but there are just not that many people around here looking for one like that. She's not even advertised, I just happened to find out about her. I'll pick up one soon. I am having a rack/display system built for me, so once that's done I can get the rest of what I want in the short term. Better to have housing ready rather than scramble. Besides, I can't breed her this year. My guys are still too young. And I am thinking either Enchi Mojave or Mystic Potion over the straight Mojave. More variety even though the Lesser X Mojave gives me a 1 in 4 change of hitting a BEL. Then again the Mystic Potion is %50 with a 1/2 and 1/2 split between blue and black eyes. And the Banana Mochi is a killer looking animal. I'll have to see what I can find in November.
