Good Breeders????

I am looking to add another BP to my collection. I'm going to get all of the supplies Friday when I get paid. I was checking out LLL reptiles, and they had super pastel babies for $99. Is that a good deal? Does anyone know if they are reputable?

Have you checked faunaclassified? That's where the majority of sales are, from big breeders to hobby breeders.

I've heard both good and bad things from LLL Reptiles. I personally wouldn't buy from them. I'd prefer finding reputable smaller breeders who often can be equal or better in dedication to their snakes and customers.

ETA: Must check the Board of Inquiry (BOI) on fauna for good/bad breeders!

I ordered my YB from lll reptile and found out later on that they do not breed BP's. But other then that my guy is healthy. I would try reptiles by mack, royal constrictor design.

TheSnakeKeeper (TSK) is local to me and they have an excellent variety and high quality breeding projects.

They have some very nice Hypo Pastel Males for $100 or $125 and you could talk them down $25 on the price.

I've been to their facility. It is top notch.

LLL reptile has always been good to me. But as mentioned before they often don't breed their own BPs. I would also say BHB reptiles and I second royal constrictor designs

Yea I will order from them again, they have nice bps my YB didn't eat the first two weeks i had him but since then he has been a great eater. Weighing 309 rite now and is currently in shed.

I got my BP from Garrick DeMeyer at Royal Constrictor Designs and I could not have asked for a healthier, more beautiful BP than the one I got from him. He's friendly and helps you out by e-mail and phone and is quick to reply and take care of your needs/questions. If I ever want another BP I'd definitely go back to him and I highly recommend him, as do most people who have done business with him. You can also check out his youtube or facebook since he posts lots of videos and photos.

There are a ton of good breeders out there. Better to do business with them than the large scale flippers. You'll pay less and have less of a chance of getting an unhealthy snake. I'm sure there are some breeders not to far from you. I would recommend going to a local show. Great place to see lots of available snakes in one place and meet local breeders.

Mike Wilbanks is a very good breeder, his animals are top quality that speaks for itself, I live in Ireland and I bought an animal from him and it was in great health, a great feeder and the best example of the morph I've seen so I would definitely recommend him

I bought my Brazilian rainbow boa from LLL, but I saw her in person first. She's a great eater and totally flawless, but I'm not sure I would order an animal from them sight unseen. The issue is that people often have mixed experiences with them. If you want to take a chance, things would most likely be ok, but there's always that little possibility.

I would go with HDI Reptiles. They're not a huge breeder and not many people know about them, but they have great animals. I've only bought in person with them, but I would not hesitate to order an animal online from them. The snakes are always beautiful and well priced. If not them, try Gary Liesen. I'd have to look up his contact information because it's a little hard to find. However, his prices are reasonable for the quality of his animals and the sub adult female my dad bought from him is doing very well. She has held her color quite nicely, too.

i had a very nice contact with Justin kolbyka when i was interesting in the black AX project and i didn t buy in because of money issue but he was very nice and took a lot of time to answer my questions. Jonathan ( a breeder circle) sold me some breeder females that all prove out to be what he said they should be ( and i was a beginner at that time) my best buy ever ( babies pictures coming soon in appropriate topic). he also answered many question and ID my new baby for me just yesterday through my seller ( which doesnt speak english just send pictures and words for me). Garrick de meyer seems to be super nice guy as there is a topic on this forum where the guy said he refund a stolen snake to his owner. always heard good stuff from him. Ozzy from OZzy boids is the nice guy which get me to OD project: very satisfy as well.

i would prefer a topic on breeders to avoid.
