Normal or Granite.
Many can have a granite look but that does not mean its genetic.

Ok, so will just have to proof it out ? :)

It is 100% Het pied so he gotta wait on the lady :)

but it is a nice snake. Has Granite characteristics, but they have to be proven out. Nice coloring, all in all a good looking snake.

Sorrt for the late response ye it really looksl ike the last.. I will keep it as a het pied, and see how the babies come out :)

my granite look very reddish has babies: good candidate as say above

Hello a few months further down the line, he has really started to become more black :) (currently I am still seeing him as a normal 100% het. pied but I wanted to share the change :) )

Mostly I must say he dries up very well as he grows :)

Do you know what the parents looked like or what the rest of the clutch mates look like?

Pairing was Pastel pied X fire het. pied

He had over the years granite running through his projects, a fire het. pied male from the same clutch also had the same kind of pattern markings.
Sadly he could not find a picture of it, though I still see him as a normal and in a year or 2 I will put him to the test and see what comes out.

Also been thinking it might just be the piebald gen in heterozygous form just showing itself, just very interesting to see him go darker every shed, my mobile does not capture the darkness well sadly.
Hopefully halfway/end of the year will have some better photograph equipment.

He has grown up nicely, best of luck with the any future breedings with him

Thank you, soonest will be a clutch by him in 2018 due to plans :)

I still have the same opinion on him, enough to dink him as soon as you can.

We will in the 17/18 season. :) First the het. pied females will go against an enchi. het pied :D

So it will be a project that will take its time :P

I thought i would give an update on... this guy.

I paired him up with 2 het piebald females, but the main goal was the enchi het pied for them. Both females took the enchi het pied as the father of the clutch.

Next year i will most likely put him against my huge normal female, but here is an updated picture of him.
The neck patterning i find very interesting, the darkness and the shotgunned allien heads.

Just give me your opinion of what you think he is or might be. (so far i still count him as a nice normal het for piebald)

Looks granite to me. I would pair against a super pastel to prove it out. The granite seems to show up really good in that combo.
