    Pics of Morpheus
    Nice pics!

However, you should consider using a different substrate. Wood chips are better suited for keeping snake food than snakes :P

Also, you might want to consider a more enclosed hide. Ball pythons especially like to be touching the hide on all sides. Clay pot saucers work great because they are low to the ground and circular just like a coiled up ball python.

    Just some friendly suggestions :)

Thanks for sharing your pics. That is some clean glass..lol

I would like to recommend, just in case you were thinking of switching substrates, cypriss mulch, It is as cheap or cheaper then pine shavings and much safer in regards to health issues in bps. If you have any questions on substrates feel free to ask.
    Thanks

Also....Newspaper is cheap (free for me) and plus, you can feed on it.

I have chief on aspen but lay down newspaper when I feed him to avoid him eating any of the aspen.

No , it isn't a seperate enclosure , nor is it small - it is the cool end of a 40BR tank , you can't really see his water dish , it's in the middle of the tank .

Rusty_Reptiles , I don't have him on pine , it's aspen . I would be interested in more info on the cypress mulch though , where can I get it ?

I think it varies for each snake , for Morpheus it was done 4 days after his eyes blued over . He was hungry as soon as he finished shedding !

Calm down . Her eyes are completely blue ? This stage can last a bit . She won't shed , until her eyes have cleared again . How is the humidity in her tank ?

ok i calm down,,, her humidity is now 62% and temp. low 80.

Ok , that might be why it is taking her so long . When in shed , the humidity needs to be higher , around 80% . The temp should be between 85-95 during the day , always . What kind of enclosure do you have her in , what sort of lid ?
It sounds like you just need to bring the humidity up . If you do a search for humidity , you'll find many good ideas to help bring it up . :)

ok usually the humidity wants to be at 90% so i open the glass lid alittle thinking 90% was dangerous. i bought her a moon shaped aquirium at petco. I have a humidifier too but turned it off because it goes beyond 90%. I think this would work if i bought a heating lamp? Maybe this would balance out the humidity when i have the humidifier on? And one little piece in the trianglar part of the lid is plastic.

Yep , 90% is getting up there . A heat lamp will burn off some of the humidity , if you want to try that , see if you can balance it . Don't worry - while her eyes are still blue , she won't shed . That stage lasted about 2 weeks or so for my boy . Once her eyes clear , she'll shed in a few days .

Did you buy a reptile heating pad or a human heating pad ??

Some reptile ones dont have a thing where you can adjust the setting, thankgod mine stays around 94-95 in my corns tank.

I have human heating pads in the other tanks, they work great, they have a high-medium-low setting so i can adjust them as needed ( i dont have a thermostat for them)

i bought those stick on heating pads i guess reptile one. if i buy a lamp how do i make sure she won't try to touch it? The tank is pretty deep though but i seen her climbe out once. Maybe i should try to build a screen lid and take the glass lid away? She gets air from the back part of lid but once she knows about that i think she will try to escape.
