Question About My BPs Eyes
Sorry its a huge photo. Dont know how to fix. My BPs eyes are a strange color. I recognize the eyes are a part of some of their morphs, is there something up with her eyes though?

Re: Question About My BPs Eyes
Could be retained eye caps. When was her last shed?

Re: Question About My BPs Eyes
Or she could be about to shed. Are you monitoring the humidity in your enclosure?

Re: Question About My BPs Eyes
Update...
Ok, so she was definately shedding. I actually hadn't seen her since the day I posted originally until today. I was checking temperatures and whatnot and found her lounging on top of a vine at the top of the enclosure. I put some damp moss in her hide but she hasn't gone back in it. My question is should I spray her with something to help the shed? Like I said shes been in her hide for 4 days so I'm assuming her skin isn't very moist. I can see pieces of shedded skin around her hide, little small pieces, i think from around her face, but otherwise its all in tact on her body. i guess i'm trying to figure what i should be doing if anything. my books dont go in detail very well. lol.
Re: Question About My BPs Eyes
Pre soaking and spraying can actually rinse off the natural oils they produce, which helps them shed. Keep the humidity up and only soak if it's a bad shed, and after he has gotten off as much as he can. There's a bad shed sticky I believe. Might be in the husbandry section
Re: Question About My BPs Eyes
The whole shedding process can take up to two weeks from getting a pink belly, going into and out of blue (the eyes), dulling of the scales, and then the actual shed. Some snakes do it faster than others.

Ok. Leave her alone it is. Lol.
