    Fiyero is here!!
    Fiyero is here!!

    Hear ye, hear ye!

Fiyero Tigelaar, the Crown Prince and heir to the thrown of Vinkus, is here! Sound the trumpets, cue the band, throw roses and get jiggy with it. (lol!) Fiyero is here! Prince Fiyero is here!

    :banana::banana:

Ok, enough with the pomp and circumstances. (I'm just really, really excited!) :D:D

I'm really, really excited because my new baby boy ball python just arrived like 2 hours ago.

I told my office mate that I had a snake and a wild look came across her face. So I had to move to a quiet part of the office to unbox him. :P He did not seem stressed from his journey, just a little cold.

Anyways when I came back she asked if I was serious. "Yes, I seriously have a beautiful snake with me," I told her. So she asked to see him. :) And here is again, Fiyero at my desk.

Well I took an early lunch to take him home and warm him up.

I put him in his new home, walked away for a few minutes. I came back and he was already in a hide. Yay!

    Welcome home Fiyero!

oh he's in a 32 quart tub i believe. and there's another smaller 6 quart tub for Fiyero if he needs it too.

Nice! Really good looking snake. Not to jack the thread, but what's going on in the monitors? Looks like an application I used to use.

I was thinking Mojave at first but looked too dark. Gargoyle? I'm still trying to learn all the morphs so I like to look at the babies and guess :).

(^ that's a stock photo. i don't have the breeders permission to post her personal pix of the clutch altough i don't think she won't mind.)

he's got hidden GHI genes, so his offsprings someday may look like his siblings.

The Mojave YB x GHI usually is what the pairing was to produce the baby. The GHI gene is a co-dominant trait, if he possesses the trait it will show. Looks like a really nice Mojave to me, but a beautiful snake!

He is beautiful :) You're lucky to have office-mates who won't flip tables if you mention a "creepy crawly" in their presence!

Beautiful snake, but he doesn't have hidden GHI genes. Very cool animal regardless. :)

Exactly, the GHI gene is co-dominant, if he had the GHI gene it would show and he'd look like the siblings. But nothing wrong at all with a beautiful Mojave.

@shiftingmomentum - welcome to the forum. :welcome::)

thanks all for the info on his genes. i am so happy with him.

here he is last night exploring around his hot hide.

(blurriness due more to the opaqueness of the tub than light. ;))

i woke up in the morning to see snake tracks in the substrate. he's was all over the place, not sure which hide he is in now.

I am pretty sure that is a Mojave Yellowbelly. The color is a little darker than a standard Mojave, the blushings go up the sides very nicely, and the alien heads are more granite like than a standard Mojave. All those features lead me to believe that you have yourself a Mojave Yellowbelly.

Here is a picture of a Mojave next to a Mojave Orangebelly (Orangebelly is a high quality line of Yellowbelly that sometimes produces Graphite Ivories). These are from the same clutch, with the Orangebelly Mojave on top and the Mojave on the bottom. The Orangebelly Mojave has a slightly different background color than most Mojave Yellowebellies that I have seen, but you can see the high blushings and the granite like alien heads in this picture.

    Beautiful Moho!!!

Although when I saw his name, I heard (quite loudly) in my mind Idina Menzel singing that one part of 'No Good Deed'.

Oh! WOW. I'm slow. I just noticed your naming theme. I love it! Wicked is awesome, enough said. What's the next one going to be? A BEL female named Glinda?
