    Logo
I was just wondering where you guys go to get a logo made or what you use to make them? In the future I'm going to need one down the road. Right now however, i need one for a different reason. I am part of an independent league baseball team and our logo is very outdated. I have the the picture of what i want to use but i want to alter it slightly. Any of you guys out there able to point me in the right direction. Thanks

My first logo is something I commissioned along with a painting.

The second (I was not really looking for another logo) was done by a young lady that contacted me to trade some artwork for an animal I had available.

Obviously two very talented young ladies.

Did that come with the rights to the logo? Or does the artist still holds the rights?

    I used fiverr.com

    https://www.fiverr.com/categories/gr...ve-logo-design

There's lots of up sell options (like unlimited revisions for $20, business card for $100) but just a basic logo only costs $5.
You tell the artist what you're looking for and include sample pictures etc. I think it was around a 2 week turnaround for me.

I got two different options back from the artist and then he/she sent me the logo files for the one I picked.

    Here's the logo. Nothing super fancy...but hey...$5 ;)

Hey Deborah, how much did the first logo cost, if you don't mind me asking?

I actually commissioned it along with a painting and traded for a snake, so I do not have a cash price.

I made mine myself using photoshop after buying a few stock photos from sites like http://shutterstock.com and had a bunch of brush templates.
After many iterations I settled on this one

I just went through and made all of mine. Used cartoonize on a lemonblast hatchline picture to modify it, then added simple logo name. I lean clean and simple. My avatar is my standard tall logo. I have one with the words next to the name as seen on my profile, and have color inverted versions of them all as well. Franklin is my middle name and the name is reserved for the first Axanthic FireFly Spinner I make. :)
