Well since mine was last month, I can't really remember how it was. We usually don't have that big of a deal with Thanksgiving though. Dunno if it's a personal thing, or if generally Canada doesn't go all out like the States does, lol. My mom always complains about how when it's our Thanksgiving, you here maybe a few mentions of it on the canadian news. But when it's the States' Thanksgiving, the tv is taken over by Thanksgiving stuff. I had to remind her that America rules the television stations. ;)

Ours went well, visited my sisters house (always a blast), I got all hopped up (or down and out) on triptaphan..lol then I came home had a nice time cleaning the baby water monitors cages then sat down with a nice cold one. (much needed)
I did just watch that movie "elf" that is so Funny!
Have a goodnight

Mine wasn't too bad :) I ate all day and I'm still hungry for some reason! I didn't know my stomach was as large as it feels today! lol.
Cody - I got to celebrate Canadian Thanksgiving with my boyfriend's family last month... definately didn't seem like a big deal up there, lol. It was kinda neat to eat a turkey that I'd gotten to know and be afraid of over the summer months though :D (hooray for raising your own food! lol, wish we did that at my house) And you're right about American TV dominating all the stations... whenever I visit up in NS I get to see all my local news for Boston! I never have any idea what's going on in Canada, but I know everything about home, lol. Oh, and for some reason they get Fox Rochester... so I also know what's going on in my sister's world (she lives out in NY). Canada needs more local news stations.. or a better cable provider, lol ;)

mmmmm ... turkey . Now its time to fast until Christmas dinner ;)

Mine was wonderful as it always is. We always eat dinner in the base, and since we have been in Tennessee we are at the hospital mess hall on fort campbell. It has to be the best food I have ever had, and it is every year. And the company is good too.

We had a nice din-din at my grandparents' house. Me, my boyfriend, and my sis and brother in law sat at the "kids table" (although the youngest of us is 23, lol) and talked about more risque subjects than the "adults" (like the new Grand theft Auto game, etc.) I ate turkey, garlic mashed tatoes, corn, and my sister's trademark greenbean/onion casserole, and topped it off with by boyfriend's famous apple pie. I did not have anything alcoholic though, which is strange. Maybe tonight... :D
