Happy thanksgiving all! Everyone say one thing you are thankful for.

I am thankful that I have the luxury to be able to own and care for many different pets.

Happy early turkey day everybody...don't stuff yourself too much :P Everybody enjoy your holiday break...I wish mine was longer.

I refuse to say one thing I'm thankful for..I did that already this year :P

I'll be driving to my uncle's house tomorrow, hopefully everybody will like the orange firewater mead I'm bringing. I'd show up with the yule mead, but I haven't bottled it yet.

It'll be the first time that family has tasted any of my stuff. Kinda funny..friend's and strangers have been sipping my brew for a while now, but family hasn't. Oh well. I haven't had time to ship a bottle to my mom anyway.

It's really easy, you get brewing equipment, oranges, ginger, water, honey, and brewer's yeast. If you search for Orange Ginger firewater mead, in google you'll find the basic reciepe I used. What I did was a bit different.

This mead acutally ended up tasting like a malt, which was unusual.

If you want more detail, I can write up some more info about it.

Oh yeah and Happy Thanksgiving to all! I am thankful for my family in general (those remaining members and those that have passed) and in the same boat I am thankful for music (our family holidays with my dads side always end up in jam sessions as everyone plays something haha)
