Just paid off this little rainbow boa!! So excited for her!

I just needed to vent somewhere and nobody else understands my excitement! My parents think I'm crazy and my girlfriend doesn't understand why I need another snake haha. But a brb is my dream snake and it's finally happening!

I just sent the final payment and shipping off for this little girl. I'm nervous and excited! She'll be my first experience with boas. I own two bps and that's all I've ever had.

She's so beautiful that she melts my heart.

They are awesome snakes, I've got one and she's such an awesome snake. They grow very slow from what I've noticed.

I got mine as a yearling, so I can't speak for before that, but she's been in a growth spurt since I've had her. In around 6 months, she's gained about 300g and visibly gained a lot of size. That's with weekly feeding of an appropriately sized rat (and for a while, some undersized rats since my local supplier had a shortage).

One of the more beautiful NATURAL patterns on a snake. Sure selective breeding comes into play, but Mother Nature whipped up the original colors on those beauties. We just match the most vibrate specimens. Very nice snake there.

I drive my husband crazy with my excitement/interest/obsession with my snakes... I'm pretty sure he thinks I love them more sometimes. :P (Okay, maybe it's not that bad... maybe. But I really do drive him nuts when it comes to how much I talk about them!) :D

This sounds like my life. Hahaha... He does love the snakes too though, just not quite as much as me. ;)

I'm lucky my girlfriend tolerates it. Well, the first and second, though she didn't understand why I needed a second. And she really doesn't understand why I need a third but she does love snakes and wants one of her own someday :)

Where did you get her?? I'm not sure where a good online site is for these types of snakes as pics don't do them justice. I have a personal breeder that I go to first but he only has 1 adult brb

Terrific pick up! Lovely little rodent killer.

From a breeder in Kitchener, Ontario. She had a pretty big clutch and all were female :)

Shame they were all female - I'm going to be looking for a male soon. What was the name of the breeder?

Her name is Teri Froklage. She's on Facebook. I think she specializes in corns but she has some other snakes, including brbs :)
