Neat viedos, but bad husbandry. I wouldn't ever feed a snake when there is another snake in the same container.
And there is a different kind of snake being housed with the ball python...while a live mouse is being fed to the BP!!!!!!!!!! Bad bad bad idea.

do u house ur bp and that other snake together?

They're not his snakes, just a site he found :)

Sk8er, if you were referring to me, NO.
Butters lives in her rubbermaid, Issa lives in a 20 gal long tank. They actually live in seperate rooms, since I keep the room humidity high for Issa and custom gecko cage.
Toast, I was refering to the person who was keeping the snakes on the website :P I apologize for any confusion there.

Now I know how there are so many scar-having snakes out there. People who feed live have no real control over what the rodent does after the snake grabs it. it could be biting into the inside of the snake's mouth, or its head, or neck.
At least when I used to feed live, I would whack the mouse first to make sure it couldn't bite. I have gotten bitten by mice and rats, and all I can say is, it was 100 times worse than any snake bite I ever got! The worst bite I ever got actually came from a small mouse hopper. It still hurts me to type with that finger. :blushes:
I would bet the farm that one of their snakes has been bitten and maybe even developed mouthrot.

yeah,i think if my snakes were'nt eating live food would be a last resort!!
