Congrats Tom! It's great to see new projects prove out! Is your new gene also recessive?

No clue... It is generally a recessive gene, so I'll assume so.

    Hi Tom!

Are you sure that's a Tri-Stripe and not something else. The reason I ask is because it does not look like a Tri-Stripe to me. The line that I'm working with here at Exotic Reptiles Unlimited has 3 very defined stripes down the dorsal.

They vary a lot... And there is multiple lines out there. Have you seen a D-Stripe before? I appreciate your opinion... It's wrong though! ;)

I have seen the D-Stripe before. It looks more like a genetic stripe with busier sides. I don't think the D-Stripe is the same morph as the Tri-Stripe and to my knowledge I do not believe attempts to breed a Tri-Stripe and D-Stripe have been made. I have noticed that the Tri-Stripes that I work with do vary by the neck and the tail but for the most part, they have very defined stripes. Did this come out of a wild caught animal or just popped up out of a breeding?

Random popouts. Just like most tend to be.

Hello, I stumbled across this thread trying to do a little research. Do you know by any chance if the Maddox line of Tri-stripe is compatible with regular Tri-stripe?
