Choosing morphs
i would like your guys' opinions on which morphs (2) to get.
2014 male vanilla
2014 male pastel
2014 male enchi
2012 male fire
Thanks in advance

Background, such as, are you planning a future breeding program/hobby? would be helpful. Pictures would also help if you have them, the breeder is usually happy to snap a few for you. It makes the decision easier.

Is it for a pet or breeding? You should get what you like.

Re: Choosing morphs
really its up to you what makes you go yea thats it is differnt than what does it for me. I really like enchi as a single gene and its a toss up with the others. I do not own a vanilla but i plan to to add it at some point but then again i want lots of morphs and combos.

If this was my short list, I'd get the enchi and the fire. Of course, what I would do should have no bearing on your decision. These are all good morphs that can create great combos, if that's what you plan to do. Just get what ever you like best.

Choose the best examples of what you have available.

I agree with Monty's Mom above. Based on personal preference, I'd look for a nice enchi and a fire. To me, those two are good-looking single gene animals. I love what pastel and vanilla do in certain combos, though.

Re: Choosing morphs
Enchi and Fire are great genes to have, always look impressive with what ever they mixed with. Definitely must have single genes. The other two make nice combos. End of day like others have said it depends what you want to achieve. I would go with single gene females and multi gene males usually, but that's my preference.

Re: Choosing morphs
I totally agree that tou should buy single gene female and combo males. You may not look at breeding now but time will never tell and to have a bunch of single gene males would not be good for breeding.

Re: Choosing morphs
sorry for the vagueness, but these are for a pet. and im purchasing these from underground reptiles and im between the enchi and the fire, i would just appreciate outside opinions on this

Re: Choosing morphs
For a pet I'd get a fire they get better and better with age enchi's for me are an ingredient for breeding.

I know everyone is saying fire or enchi, but I personally love the vanillas, but if you are not breeding and it is going to be a pet, I would go with a fire. They look really nice as they get older.
