How often does your Ball Python poo??
Mine hasn't poo'd in 6 weeks. She is acting normal otherwise; eating, totally interactive, pee'ing, excreting urates, shedding...but she won't poo. I've tried giving her a warm bath but nothing. I'm worried :( At what point do I sound the alarms and take her to her Doctor?

This is about 6 weeks of mice don't worry too much ball pythons go when they go mine usually goes whenever she sheds hope this helps calm your nerves

Nope! Mine usually go about every other feeding. If they are close to shedding they'll hold it even longer. Then I get a big present!!!!
I use an app called snake keeper that documents everything from feeding, weight, length, shedding, and poo!! After a short while you will start to see a "close" estimate at when to expect what. This changes pretty frequently with juveniles but can be pretty accurate for an adult. You can even export and e-mail yourself the statistics from the app. Most people don't do this, I just find it fun to go back and look at.
How often does your Ball Python poo??
My 13 yr old BP goes during shed, every 51-60 days.
My 5 1/2 -6' Boa ((don't know the age) goes every 45 days or so.

Babies every 5-10 days and adults 3 weeks - 1.5 months.

Depends on the animals size, feeding frequency and prey size (anywhere between once a week for hatchling to 6 to 8 weeks for adults)

Disagree. Exercise can encourage some snakes to take care of their business. I don't know about you, but I don't want to clean a boa-sized "dropping" out of my bed...

Unfortunately, this is highly variable. My BP seems to go several times on consecutive days, then wait 6-8 weeks before going again. It just seems highly variable. I haven't seen much of a pattern, except that sheds= poop except for when they don't.

Mine goes about every 2 weeks but sometimes 1.5 months.

Thanks Deborah. Someone told me the feeder size makes a difference on the frequency of their poo. I have been feeding my Python rat pups and recently learned that she should go up two sizes. I have only had her for 5 months and she has grown since, but she's at a weight now that requires more food.

My girl finally poo'd after 1.5-2 months. Yesterday she had a busy schedule with a full shed followed by excreting everything that was in her belly, leaving me a big ole mess in her bachelorette! Her feeders have been too small so I went up two sizes. I think this was one of the reasons she hadn’t poo’d in so long. I will monitor and see if the food size makes a difference in how often she goes. I will post so that others who wonder the same will gain insight. Thanks to all who helped put my mind at ease.
