Slightly off topic, one of my garter snakes is named Stupid. I tried giving him a cool name like Balin, but he's just... really, really stupid.

And my Brazilian rainbow boa is called Ember. My others don't have names yet.

I named my new little cutie Cinnamon Roll. My friend thought up the name and everyone loved it (including me!) so it stayed.

I named my male pastel Elvis Marie. My grandma loves Elvis and my girlfriends middle name is Marie. They helped talk my mother into letting me get him in the first place. It only seemed right. They made my dreams come true so in recognition of their efforts i named my animal after them.:):cool::D

So far we have hade two females, Roswell and Akasha.

Always called my snakes by locales, sub species or morphs. But I have two beautiful daughters and they have a way of making me do things I normally wouldn't do. So here you go.

To many to name all right away. Most get name by personality or markings. Some bp names are big bertha, captain, Morgan, Capone. My 10 foot carpet is peanut. A boa named cinco because of a perfect 5 on his head. The rest havent been named yet.

Mine's name is Baphomet. But he has several nicknames. Like Schnoodle which is the current favorite amongst my roommates.

I'm sure this is a common one, but Nagini is mine.

My son named ours "Butter" lol

No BPs right now, but my other snakes names are:

M Amel Corn Snake: Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

M Sunglow BCI: Cy, (Short for Cyclops since he only has one eye)

F BRB: Serenity

M Okeetee Corn Snake: Bison


Not Snakes but my leopard geckos are named Doozer and Sprocket

I really want a female BEL that I hope to name Simone.

I started out naming them after greek and roman gods but it was easier to just refer to them by their morph so I gave up around the 9th snake. Now they're just Fire, Enchi, Mojave, Coral Glow, Pied, Clown, HRA, etc. The normal we still call Ekans after the Pokemon character, which is just the word snake backwards.

Nope, Nagini is from Harry Potter. It was the name of Voldemort's snake/horcrux.

The Naga are a race of snake shifters in the Xanth novels.

Yup, I was thinking of rikki-tikki-tavi from the jungle book ( Nag and Nagina)

Mine ball python is Nagini.
Not actually from Harry Potter, I was trying to do a cutesy form of the Japanese word for snake (naga) except I forgot what it was and thought it was nagi.
So Nagini. Not Harry potter, really.

Current Snakes:
Cinnamon pinstripe: Strudel
Lesser bee: Serket

I may in fact have a list of snakes I'm gonna get and what I'm gonna name them... But I'm not sure if those count, so I'll just keep it to myself unless asked.

I call one of mine hiersurat. On feeding days I take a thawed out rodent in my hemostats, open her tub, hang it over the edge of her tub and say HIERSURAT, and she comes RIGHT TO ME... It's obvious that she knows her own name.

Normal male named Elwood and an Orange Ghost named Odin.

Chloe is my female normal ball python and Minion is my female pinstripe ball python.

My bps names are Sushi,Kismet, Popcorn and Kiddo.

My boy's name is Reggie. I'll be gettin a pied boy in a few weeks, not sure what I should name him

That's how I've been naming all my snakes! Greek gods and goddesses and an Egyptian queen. :)

I've been thinking hard about what to name my little fella (Super Pastel [M]) - I've been listening to a lot of audiobooks instead of music lately while at work, and I've been on a Jules Verne kick, so I was considering pulling something out of 20kLUTS or Mysterious Island... but none of the characters seem to fit. So, I think I'm settling in a different direction, and I'm strongly considering Vincent, a la van Gogh, because he's pastel, get it? :D I'll see myself out

Normal - Arnie Conda (usually just shortened to Arnie, or Conda if I want to make him feel like a monster from a Japanese movie!).

Enchi - Trouser.

Bella- normal

Ginger - normal. Was Oliver before we discovered that she's a girl!
