I went to the Atlanta Reptile Show at the Gwinnett Civic Center today (November 20). I was originally going to buy a milksnake, possibly Mexican, but then I got something else instead.... An Albino Californian Kingsnake! :) :) :) :) :)
I got it for $25, and I am going to try feeding it pinkie mice on Wednesdays and Sundays. I don't know if it is a boy or a girl for sure yet, but I believe it is a boy.
I am really happy because the person that I bought the snake from had a normal Californian kingsnake for the same price. I figured, why buy something normal when you can get something better for the same price?

I am going to take some as soon as I can. My mom said not to take them right now though. I have it in a sterilite container with plenty of holes in the lid, and newspaper underneath some sphagnum peat moss, and he has a paper box hide that my sister made with oragami, and a haly of a metal barbie egg.

Just in case anyone doesn't read typoese, that would be a hide made from "half" a metal Barbie egg. ;) He's a cute little booger, mostly yellow, with a pink crown on his head (he *is* a king, after all ;) ).
