    Cage progress
So here are the two T8s I am working on. Both have an RHP, controlled by a herpstat 2. There are a lot of things I still want to get until they are done, but they are almost ready. I know the half logs are no good but I pulled them out of the closet to use as clutter for now. http://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/05...1047993324.jpg

Why are half logs no good?

BPs tend to prefer nice, crammed hides. The half-logs, with their two open ends, provide a little less security than they'd usually prefer.

Sweet stacked T8s! I had a couple stacked just like that - just without the cool night club lighting.  :D

True story mate. I love to look at these. Man oh man... That's about the size of the table I have my tank on right now...

Wow these are awesome. I'm hoping to put together a new rack system when I move into a bigger place this year.

Lol Ball pythons have a unique night life in the wild, it's best to create a club-like atmosphere so they feel at home. Very science. Much facts.

Thanks, I don't remember what brand they are but I got then at Lowes for 40 dollars. It's just a four foot stick on strip that has a remote and 16 different colors.

If you don't mind me asking how much did both of those run you and do you have the name of the lighting stick? And is this lighting stick suitable? I'm looking for a setup exactly like that and have some extra cash sitting around so I would like to purchase something exactly like this.

The lights are just for show, I'm not sure what you mean by 'suitable'. I don't remember the name but it is the only one at Lowe's that has a remote and 16 different colors. Each T8 is $150. The radiant heat panels are $94.00 each. The herpstat Two redline is $295.

Please excuse my newbness but do the RHP's go inside the encloser?

Yep, inside. Pro products has great customer service and will make sure you get the right one. They base it off the size of the cage, your houses ambient temps, and what temps you need inside the cage. http://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/05...3315a28407.jpg

Suitable as in it wouldn't hurt or harm my snake. Thanks for the response. Hopefully will be ordering one very soon.

Nope it won't hurt them. I keep the blue or red on since they can not see these colors. It's useful to have white as an option to see better when cleaning or whatever.
