Re: Was this snake ever fed?
To me that sounds way to light and I would stay away from it. I have never heard of a BP that small at that age.

Yea, even my 2015 female leopard BP weighs 186g. The thing is, what if it is just being neglected? Could a BP be that small for its age if it is being neglected?
Re: Was this snake ever fed?
Before you judge too quickly, do you have any idea about it's hatch weight? How quickly did it begin feeding? How often/what has it been eating? Just because it's small doesn't mean it has been neglected.

Exactly what I was thinking.
Re: Was this snake ever fed?
Get pics and find out what it has been eating. Maybe a stubborn eater, maybe he isn`t feeding correctly. Ask Ask Ask!

Agreed, I have a 2 yr old fire OG male that was an extremely stubborn starter. I think he only ate about 3-4 times in his first 6-8 months. Then he decided to become a regular eater and now is a pretty normal sized 2 yr old. Nonetheless, I'd try to find out more about the snake's background, admittedly he's quite small for that age.

^^ good! I think it is wise to pass on this one. "It eats something white from the pet store" is a pretty scary answer. Always buy from reputable breeders or someone you know well.

I am really okay buying form people I do not know or from people who are not breeders and just need to get rid of snakes. I have done it in the past and not once have I had an issue. I very well trained to know scammers. But this is different. I have ran into people who really do not know what they are talking about but this guy seriously is... i do not know a polite word for it. I almost feel bad for the snake.

Ok, I admit it, I've bought a few snakes from "unknowns" myself. With no problem, but if there is any red flags at all, you really gotta pass. There are a lot of scammers, and even well meaning but incompetent keepers out there. While I can appreciate rescue efforts of mistreated (whether intentional or not) animals, it's not for me, I'd rather start with a well adjusted and healthy snake.
