best online place to get snakes
Is reptiles by Mack good? What about royal constrictors? Suggestions or opinions?

Re: best online place to get snakes
royal constrictor designs and snakes at sunset are good, but I prefer BHB reptiles and underground reptiles :)
-
I have seen that BHB and underground reptiles are both great

Re: best online place to get snakes
Yeah, both have great site layouts, and a wide selection. underground reptiles has a larger selection of reptiles, not just snakes, though.

Re: best online place to get snakes
I got my MBK from Reptiles by Mack and they were great to work with. I've also heard good things about BHB.

For BCI and BRB David Collings at Rainbows R US
is fantastic.
I got two great snakes from him. He has some BRB morphs that are only available from him. He is working with Monstertails that are really spectacukar. Great service, friendly, excellent shipping. For balls BHB is really great.

Does underground reptiles have a YouTube channel? I thought they did.
I have heard some stuff about rainbows r us. All good.

I would stay away from Underground Reptiles. I have been to their physical location in Florida. While they do have a giant selection, their animals don't always look to be in the best of health. I held an adult boa that coughed up a giant phlegm ball onto me there. When I told the store owner that the boa likely had a respiratory infection, he said "oh yeah, shes been like that for a while."
Rainbows R Us however is great. I am picking up a pair of boas from them later this month.

See yeah I've heard some things about Underground Reptiles that weren't good. Check

It's a great place to get more info.

Yep, I would definitely not buy from Underground. There are a multitude of online retailers that have webpages with generic images of the animals they sell. These stores sell a lot of wild caught and wholesale animals. Usually they are purchased in lots and don't always receive the best care. Try sticking with reputable people who breed their OWN animals, not just import and sell them for cheap.

I love them but I have seen odd stuff there as well. A snake that looked dead/dying. I recently found a giant dried out spider corpse on one of the shelves. Thing had massive fangs. But to tell the truth, they actually know what they are doing unlike most other stores.

Pythonregius.com - Mike Wilbanks produces a very great selection of ball pythons. You won't find much available right now, but in about another couple of months he'll have hundreds of quality BPs all produced at his facility. I've done quite a bit of business with him and highly recommend him.
Extraordinary Ectotherms - Will Bird is my go to guy for carpet pythons. Great snakes all produced by him, good prices and a great guy. I've been doing business with him for over a decade and have never been disappointed. He also produces balls, spotteds, rainbow boas and several other species.
I also purchased from BHB, Dynasty Reptiles and Albey's Too Cool Reptiles. All have been positive experiences.

I remember talking to Garrick from Royal Constrictor designs back in the late 90's. Great guy then, even better now. Awesome selection, easy to get in touch with. I bought eight off of him. No regrets. Highly recommend him. Good luck with who you finally choose. A lot of top breeders have been brought up!

What about reptiles by Mack. Are they good? I have seen that their prices are lower and they have been said to be good.

Re: best online place to get snakes
I've heard good things about reptiles by Mack. I highly recommend Rich Macias for recessives. Outback Reptiles did well by me too, though I buy from them at expos.

Just curious, what exactly are you looking to purchase?

Re: best online place to get snakes
Different BP morphs online or at expo.

I had an excellent experience with ReptMart. The weather was nuts late last fall in my area - snowing one day, 60*F the next - and they were very easy to work with getting 3 savu pythons shipped to me safely.

Re: best online place to get snakes
How are the reviews with BHB Reptiles? I just recently ordered a snake from them this week that will be shipped out Tuesday of next week but looking around I saw they had an issue with mites a couple years back and wondered if that was still a serious problem? I was thinking of calling them on Monday and talking with someone just to clear up some of my concerns i've been having.

Both of my Kingsnakes are from BHB. I got them last January. They arrived looking fantastic, and the male still does. The female has a defect in her digestive tract, however. I doubt it showed up noticeably as a baby, which is how I got her, but after having her for a while and trying to graduate her from newborn pinkies it became apparent. She doesn't grow. Both snakes arrived healthy, active, and well packaged.
The two balls I have are from TriReptiles, so I can't say anything about BHB on them, but both arrived healthy. However, I just put a deposit on a Ball from BHB. I don't plan on having her sent to me until next month, after the holiday mailing rush is over, though, so that's no help.

Support your local breeder, if there isn't any around you try amateur breeders on here

Re: best online place to get snakes
I'm not all to sure if I do have a local breeder or not.
