To tell you the truth, that light is hot at all. Its not even warm. Kinda weird to me.

I love that cage I am still unsure if I should build or by my nea cages after I move.

Definitly build a cage. Like I said, it cost me about 20 dollars to build that. Did take long to builb either. Just find yourself a dresser, booksehlf, chest, gun cabnet and convert it into a cage. :D

Nice cage! Someday I'll finish building mine, lol. Kinda off topic... but may I ask what the music on your website is from?? I know it all and I can't quite figure it out... although I'm fairly sure the music on Cajun's page is from one of the Streets of Rage games... rightt? Or am I crazy?? S'cuse me while I got rifle through my Sega drawer... lol

CORRECT!! My homepage, cajun, jax, and the cage music are from streets of rage 2 from sega genisis. The for sale/adoption is from final fantasy. And of course Halo2 page is from . . . Halo. lol

AHA! I knew it!! I used to play Streets of Rage 2 for days on end.... until my friend gave me the third one for my birthday a few years ago :D But ever since he joined the Marines I've had nobody to play it with :( Maybe I'll dedicate my weekend to Streets or Rage all by my lonesome... lol

I like your cages. I plan on building something similar in the future for my (now juvie) beardie.
I have a question though. You say the light does not get hot; how do you heat the cage? Just curious. My guess is that the basking lamp on the right provides the heat while the flourescent is merely for viewing?

Yes, the light that is hanging is light witch produces heat. I did some changes to my chage. Now there is 2 heat lamps, a UVB light. I added a shelf, and put wheat bran in one half and felt in the other. Its great and he loves it.
