Building? Ovulation? Or am I Wishful?
Noticed my female pastel wrapping around her bowl constantly So about a month and a half ago started pairing my male banana to her they have locked 6 times since, seems fast for ovulation already but now she's always on the hot side and getting bigger everyday! First year breeding so I'm having trouble feeling follicles, and I've just introduced the male In Again tonight!shes roughly 1600 grams and he's just over 600. Any advice, ideas, would be greatly appreciated. Thanks http://images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/04...91d772ee77.jpg

Her last meal was 03/22 med rat. She's refused since then.

Did you check for a tail suck by lifting the tail end and look to see if there was any cloacal indentation? Your female looks large at the mid body. I actually have a thread asking the same thing about my albino female. Whether she is ovulating or not. (coincidence I guess). LOL.:D

Just went to check for tail suck, couldn't tell cause they were locked up! Didn't want to disturb. ;)

Soo no tail suck & she's still refusing food and still pairing up with the male whenever I put them together, must just be building, super stoked either way, first year breeding and my OCD doesn't help either!

She is well on her way. She should shed in a few weeks, after that she should lay in about twenty seven days. Give or take a few days. You will also notice that she will, spend a lot of time on the warm side of her enclosure. The waiting is the hard part.

Congrats on the ovulation! Hope you get some pastel banana. I know about how nerve wracking the waiting is. My first clutch of eggs is on day 48 in the incubator. It's been a long road up to this point, and these last few days are going to drive me insane. ;)
