And then there were two....
I've been wanting me a Speckled King for as long as I knew about them (and that's a very long time). I also wanted a Ball Python for just as long, but that's been a reality for more than a year now. Here's my new baby girl :

My two kings are L. getula splendida, and both have a decided green cast to the yellow speckling. This is especially noticeable in sunlight. The black on mine is also the blackest shiney jet black I have ever seen.
Re: And then there were two....
Here's another pic I took the other day, this time in the sunlight ...

Re: And then there were two....
She's looking great scalrtn and that's some very impressive growth.
Re: And then there were two....
Your king looks awesome sc!
Re: And then there were two....
She's very pretty sc. She does look just a little chunky in the 2nd pic but at her age 900g seems about right and your feeding schedule seems on point too. My MBK was a tad over 900g at 3.5 y/o. She would eat 1-2 jumbo mice every 10-14 days.

What happened to your Kings Ziggy?

I rehomed them to make room for an albino carpet and an olive python. It was tough but I realized that I prefer working with larger animals. I still love and miss them :(. They went to a really great home though. :)
Re: And then there were two....
Awesome she took it, I've never known kings to be picky.
