    Hi hi!
    Hi hi! :)

Well I thought I would introduce myself. :) I'm Robert, 35, live in Utah, grew up in Cali and I'm an emoticon lune, lol. :) I'm new to the BP.net forums, but not new to snakes. I got my first snake--a ball--when I was 15. Then it exploded to burms and retics. I've done the latter two for most of my snake keeping but due to some back injuries and now a bad back, I've had to retire from the bigguns. I'm excited to come back to the ball world, though, where it all started for me. I just sold my GC retic, Kalika, but today I ordered a cute lil' ball from Bob. I'm super excited and I'm hoping to have her by next weekend and cannot wait to post pics. :)

Hello. I'm sure Bob wouldn't mind some free advertisement. Post up the shots that sold you on her! :D

    Aditi
OMG! She arrived! :) She's very cold as Utah is having an April blizzard, so I put her under her heat lamp right away. Oh, and her name is Aditi, named after the Hindu Goddess, "Keeper of the light that illuminates all life and ensures consciousness. She gave birth to the universe and the heavenly bodies." :)

Once she settles in, I'll totally get some eye pics. I want to see them close up, too, ha ha! She was pretty cold due to the blizzard here, but I put her in her enclosure under her heat emitter, and she's doing better. I am super excited! I've wanted a black eyed leucy since I first saw them. Now I have my dream snake. :)

I bothered her just for a second to see if I could get an eye pic... this is the best I could do right now, but if you look close enough, you can see her pupil! Totally red! Dark, but red. :) She's nice and warmed up and exploring her enclosure. Cutest thing I have ever seen. :)

Thanks guys! :) So the yellow spots are signs of genetic origin? (I'm not familiar with all the genetics of the balls anymore, having been away so long, lol.)

And here is a shot my sister was able to get of Aditi's eyes. :) They are totally wicked in person. I truly cannot believe how amazing her eyes are.

The orange spots are just part of the super fire look, and also a big reason why i love them along with the black eyes and red pupil.... they can range from looking like someone was flicking a brush of orange paint at them, to what looks like digital camo patchs all the way down to dots here and there or just pure white... im going the long way with getting mine by breeding, once my male fire gets up to size ill start looking for a female fire to breed him with amd hope i get lucky.... looking forward to more pics of that beautiful animal

Thanks so much for the explanation. I had no idea the yellow spots were common for them. I'm kind of glad she only has the two, ha ha! I really like the white. :)
