    A question for you guys
So everytime i my snakes shed i get one long shed. Stretched out. The first tome today though it was rolled up. Like a condom perfect little oval! Never seen that before how common is it?

My BP's almost always do the rolled up shed. A lot of them shed in their hides so there's not a lot of room.

My BRB's and Russian Ratsnake all seem to give me the long, stretched out sheds everytime.

All depends on how they removed the skin. Stretched out long while pulling or going in more of a circular motion. Very normal.

I couldn't figure out what happened after my BP went into shed and came out of it with no evidence until I cleaned the terrarium and found the little rolled-up shed inside his warm hide.

This is exactley my reaction i was so confused untill i found it. I actually unwrapped it to make sure he had gotten all the shed off because i had no idea what was going on

I just realized it was normal the other day. Up til now my girl had done long stretched out too, but a couple days ago she shed and I peeked in on her and she was freshly shed sitting on TOP of her warm hide, which happens but rarely. So I started looking for the shed and lo and behold it was in her warm hide. Then she went back in her hide. :confusd: "Look Mom, look what I made for you! OK thank you for removing it, I'm going back to hide now."

It's something I noticed as well . I presumed it was related to the viv humidity levels as the Royals and Boas and the Burm seem to be all rolled up in one many lump whereas the Corns / Kings / Ratsnakes / Garter snakes all seem to be laid out in one nice clean shed ....

Are your BRB's kept in a humid or a dry set up , out of interest ??

I used to keep mine in a pretty humid setup with a blanket of damp moss over the bottom . He spent 100% of the time on the damp side and never went anywhere near the smaller , dryer area .
