I see she is 50% het hypo... How would you tell if a bel was hypo?

aww... Mine's a littly hissy, but she's one of my more calm babies haha.

got any runner-up names? Also, I didn't mention it in my first comment, but those are pretty awesome pictures too! I like how since the whole body of the snake it white, you can focus on the only color on them (blue eyes). Not sure if that was intentional, but I found that really artistic and pretty!

I went back and forth between goddess names. Or Disney princesses names, but I didn't want to name her Snow-white or Elsa. But I liked the idea of calling her snow. But I ended up with snowflake

Thank you for the compliment on the photos. I was excited to get my new camera then. And that was around the time I was just playing around with the settings. I can't even remember what setting I had or what kind of lighting I made. It was definitely good. I liked how they came out.

I'm pairing two balls that are butters het hypo now. I am sure to see how one looks. Lol. But I think it's an all yellow tinted snake

It should not be tinted. I would be inclined to posit that it would be less likely to tint as it ages.

Hypomelanism is a reduction in the amount of melanin produced/displayed in the animal. Leucism is a failure of any pigmentation being properly displayed. So in combination, the amount of pigment not being displayed by a HypoBluEL would be less than the amount of pigment not displayed by a normal BluEL. Or, to put it the other way, the very limited amount of pigment that sometimes causes normal BluELs to tint up would be even more limited in a HypoBluEL

Love the BEL. Just got one myself that was "pre-loved." 1400 grams and eating like a piggy already for me (and sweet as can be). Something about the all white snake that really is striking. Hoping to breed her and make more little white worms (and some purple passions!).
