I drew a portrait of Shelby

Since I took some pretty nice photos of my snakes yesterday, I decided to draw a portrait of Shelby from one of them. I posted it here:

btw, my scanner sucks, the drawing honestly looks better in person.

Whoa, not bad at all. You've got some talent there. Wish I could draw like that, lol. Other than sketching, I'm not too good. Then again, I don't have any good supplies...just some blank paper and a regular pencil. I need some art supplies. ;)

But yeah, that's very nice....the detail is cool...looks like you got every scale in there. How long did that take?

It'd be cool if I could turn it into a little business. Reptile pet portraits. lol there aren't as many people that do those as do dogs and cats.

i have a program on my computer where i can upload a pic and it will "sketch" it for me it looks almost as good as yours!!!

Yeah I'm just messin around. Not meaning to take away from that sweet drawing you did of Shelby. Maybe if I get practicing, I can be that good again. :) If not, maybe I'll just email you a pic of Pelota and you can draw her if you wish? :P

I think I will start my own pet portrait business. I'm also a web designer.. so I can design my own page. I'll just have to look into where to host one.

The photo of Cupid coiled up is nice, do you by chance have a bigger version of it? It's hard to draw from such a small picture.
