    "Enhancer" Genes
Fire, Enchi, YB.. which one do you prefer? Which would you rather have as an enhancer in a combo?

Personally I'm a big fan of fire.

Enchi is not just an enhancer - it's a game-changer. Fires are more of an enhancer gene. With YB, it depends on the combo.

It REALLY depends on what you plan on breeding? If you are only looking for 1 snake as a pet, I'd say enchi. If you're looking for a base female to start with, I'd say enchi. BUT if you have a bunch of stuff that would really go well with YB or Fire, I'd go with that lol.

I have a couple fires but I'm interested in YB and enchis right now for the bright/cleanness they bring to combos. I'm curious why enchi is considered a game changer while fire and YB are more enhancers?

Enchi seems to react in unexpected ways with different genes. It seems to affect not only colors but patterns. Enchi with Pied gives a pied with very low white, Enchi with Champagne makes a champagne with a lot of pattern.

Personally, I like what Butter does to darker genes.

^ plus it has a super form that isn't a pure white snake :P. It takes that randomness of the pattern, and thins it out, making almost everything reduced. It also turns the color up a TON.

if I had to pick one, enchi

pied, clown, champagne see huge benefits from it. Everything else seems to get a boost from it also. Only bad enchi combo I have seen is the sable enchi.... but sable does that to a lot of morphs lol.

    Enchi all the way!

Three of my five balls have Enchi. If I keep the other two girls, they will be bred to Enchi. Not only because both my males are Enchi, but because I want their morph plus Enchi.

I might just be in an Enchi phase.

Enchi, Fire, YB. That's my order. Unless of course, you land all 3 in one snake LOL.

I second, third, whatever, the enchi. I have a enchi champagne female that is amazing, and probably my favorite of the collection:

I need to get a light tent because the cell phone pics do not do this girl justice.

I had been on the fence about champagne. .. but that girl! Oh I like champagne with enchi.

..maybe add some pastel, I like their gold/orange color just not the dark " brown out" on top. ..

I think pastel makes a lot of morphs look neat. I'm a fan of it's smoothness that enchi doesn't bring in the same way.

But GHI, man, it makes such wonderful contrast, but maybe that doesn't count as a enchancer?

I wouldn't d consider it one, imo it ruins quite a few combos.

I'm glad someone else feels that way. I've never been real fond of most of the GHI combos I've seen. They just look too dirty.

GHI is a dark morph, an enhancer gene is going to be something that cleans up noise, reduces pattern, and enhances coloration and contrast, or all of the above. If you want something like that other than the mentioned genes look at something like orange dream

Just personal preference, but I like Fire, Orange Dream and Enchi.

yes orange dream on the top: OD, enchi, fire like, YB like, desert also count as one certainly the best if you don t mind the females breeding issue.

i m not found of Ghi as well even if the BEL combos are nice

Of course if you got a male with those for genes together then you put him on quite all your female without worrying ... what ever come out will look great.
