Hopefully theres a super cinny lav in here

This is kinda of exciting, it is my first chance at a worlds first. Cinny het Lav to a Cinny het Lav, 5 eggs, 4 with good veins and 1 with weak ones, but they are still there. Given my chances are not good, with 1/16 per egg which boils down to 27% of the entire clutch, odds are not great. But there is still a chance, come on solid purple snake.

well yea im going to make you suffer right along with me lol. I'm hoping I can cheat a couple weeks before hatch date and shine a light through to see pattern, if some of them have pattern and there is one without it ( I think we all expect it to look like a red eye lucy when it is born), I might get my hopes up really fast lol. I've been able to do that with BEL or pattern morphs.

That would be cool, but it might make waiting for them to hatch that much harder. Good luck.

Sounds neat. I like anything bright in snakes, but any kind of purple will be great.

Well, cut the eggs today, 2 cinnys and 2 normals.... lol I was hoping to get some confirmation on them being het lav, since I got them from a friend who didn't produce them himself, though he seemed pretty confident in it. Given there was only a 1/4 chance for each egg of a lav, I also had a 1/4 chance at a super cinny, which I missed on also. So guess I will be selling these as normals and cinnys and try again next year. Gotta have some bad odds to appreciate the good ones. Thanks for all the cheers.

I agree, on the statement that these hatchlings are healthy. Now aren't they het for lavender also??? Even though the parents didn't prove out this time doesn't mean they wont next time. Correct? Good luck either way and congrats! :gj:

if the parents are hets then the babies would be 66% pos hets, but without verification im not comfortable selling as pos hets. I haven't lost faith yet tho and will repeat the pairing next year.

Now I'll be waiting an entire year in suspense. :D
