What kind of ball python do i have????
I recently purchased a ball python and am having alot of trouble figuring out what kind of ball python it is and I didnt ask the breeder at the time, can anyone help me figure this one out?

tnx and how much would a lesser with this type of pattern typically go for in a store? i paid arount 150

Hello, price can vary based on several factors including phenotype, actual genotype ie 1 , 2 , or multiple gene animal. 150.00 for your bp just by looking at him seems like a fair price. Actually, I thought it was a Mojave. Phenotype refers to how the animal appears as you look at him. Anyway, that is a beautiful bp, make sure you get that humidity increased to take care of the bad shed. Good luck.

I think your right about the lesser/butter, I was looking at alot of pics online and seems like thats what it is :)

Yeah I know not the greatest shed and i started resolving the issue by soaking him for like 1 hour and a half when hes about to shed....tnx. I currently have a exo-terra terrarium and am having issues keeping my humidity up cause of the screen top, anyone have a solution to this issue?

Don't soak prior to a shed. It actually has the opposite effect of what you intended it to do. Soaking washes away the natural lubricant that the snake needs in order to shed properly. Just keep humidity where it needs to be and you shouldn't have shedding issues going forward.

Really I didn't realize cause the last two times i did he actually shed off his skin within 24 hours in one piece, But ill try just humidifying it instead. Is humidity in general very important or is just over emphasized on other then when they are shedding?

Humidity is important in that the extreme ends (too low or too high) will tend to lead towards problems. Erring on the high side is actually better for your BP so long as you don't have an actual moisture build-up inside your enclosure (condensation, standing water, etc).
Personally, I keep my snake room at 55% humidity all of the time and that's what works for me (very rare shedding issues). Humidity is one of those things that your animals will let you know if you have enough or not. Dented eyes, bad sheds, etc are all signs that you should do something differently.
