Do you only feed crickets twice a week and therefore dust every feeding? Do you dust with both at the same time?

i use the same powders as vaughn but i use them seperately. i also feed 3-4 times per week. i usually dust with the calcium (the kind with no vitamin D3 since the herptivite has D3 already) just one time per week and with the herptivite the rest of the time.

Does Herptivite have D3? I couldn't find where it does.

Nope, no vitamin D. The Rep-Cal has it.

wait, i thought you were supposed to supplement with the rep-cal without vitamin D3 if you also supplemented with herptivite because you don't want to overdo the D3? which would mean that it is in herptivite--but i don't see it on the label now that i look at it...

From what I understand, you use a calcium supplement and a multivitamin supplement but you only want one of them (not both) to contain D3. Herptivite does not have D3 so you would want your Calcium supp to have D3.

Exactly what TG said. It doesn't matter which has D3 as long as one does and not both. The CGD has it, I am almost certain, so if you feed that as well, your crestie has been getting some D3, and maybe enough depending on how much it eats.

ok, for some reason i thought the herptivite did have D3. i guess i'll try to figure if my guys are eating enough of the CGD and go from there since i currently use the calcium without added D3. thanks!
