Thanks for all the comments! To clarify, this is a super sulfur (super fire) which would normally be all white or mostly white.

Since there isn't a generally accepted definition of a "paradox ball python" and being that this snake has usually high orange and multiple black flecks/scales- I labeled it as a paradox because it is so different than the normal all white or mostly white super fire/sulfur. I've seen some ball pythons labeled as paradox with large blotches of dark pigment or "paradox spots". Any comments or your thoughts about the definition of paradox would be appreciated!

I love that pattern! Great looking little one.

I'm almost sure that will not helps, but here is an old thread about the paradox: http://ball-pythons.net/forums/showt...?53977-Paradox

I love the look of this snake!! It is killer for sure. I wonder if Sulfurs produce more orange?? A lot of my collection has fire cause I love super fires so much and would be stoked to produce a high orange like this. Great snake

Super fires/sulfurs can range from pure white to lots of yellow like yours. With super fires, you see about 15% high white, 15% high yellow and the remaining 70% are anywhere in between. From what I hear, super sulfurs tend to put out more high yellow than the super fires which is cool. For every person that asks me for a high white super I have at least one asking for a high yellow. Either fetch a slightly greater price than the middling yellows.

Thanks for all the input! My long term goal is to consistently produce high orange supers through selectively breeding!
