    Malakai is a sweetie...
I don't know how to post pics on here but my bp has been laying in my hand in the same position for an hour! I was worried but that must mean he trusts me and is used to me right?? It's so sweet that he's so content.

Host the image to imgur or somewhere else, then use the Insert Image function with that link. That function is right above the text box you use to post stuff.

Well, despite the fact I can't post the picture, I just want opinions on his demeanor. That's definitely a good thing that he could lay still and relaxed for that amount of time in my hand, right??

It is a good sign that your snake is not trying to flee but you are trying way to hard to figure your snake out. Snake seem to do things just to confuse their owners. Just relax and enjoy your snake.

The reason I'm so concerned is because I have a 5-year-old son and other pets. I've never liked snakes, honestly, but I met someone with an awesome Burmese then I wanted my own ball. But okay, I'll just go with the flow.

Ball pythons aren't known for their aggressive nature plus even if one tagged you, it wouldn't really hurt. Now if it was a big constrictor like a retic, burm, anaconda or boa, then I'd say you could end up with some big problems but otherwise I wouldn't worry. If your snake is relaxing on you, that's a good sign unless he's sizing you up to attempt to try and eat you......j/k :D

I think it's normal bp behavior. Sometimes I can get my guy to sit still on me, but mostly he just wants to periscope and explore, more like a boa lol.

Tapatalk works on windows phones too. How did you keep your hand relaxed for an hour!? Often I get fidgety before the snake

Yeah really lol the only time I sat still with my girl for that long is in the middle of the day when we both took a nap. Or at least I did. I just had both hands on her while she was on my chest and didn't move for almost an hour until I woke up because she moved.
