    New Savannah
So my fiance and I have been talking about the collection of pets. And we did a lot of research and searching to make our first non rescue furry purchase. After checking hybrid laws and local regulations we finally were able to find the perfect companion we have been searching for to finish our small family of cats - meet Nala the F6 SBT Savvanah!

Congrats! She's a cute one as are the others.

I came sooo close to getting one years ago.

That was when I traveled for my job and was gone 2-3 days a week. My ex did not want to tackle a Savannah without me around.:(

I have too many indoor pets now.

I look forward to future pics and funny stories.:)

Yes, my Fiance just quit her job in order to be a full time mom to our pets. Between the Savannah and the Wolfdog, our hands are constantly full. . . and we just foster failed a kitten apparently so the Savannah can be raised up with a similar aged cat.

    Awww <3
    I absolutely love Savannah's!

I'm going to get a Savannah one day, but I'm going all out and getting an F1 or F2, been saving up for it for a while now :)

Tsandford, Savannah's are a hybrid between an African Serval and a domestic cat(bengals).

A Savannah is a cross between a Serval and a house cat. They range greatly in price dependent on how close to pure wild cat they are. I like the second and third generations, cause they get huuuuge! Talk about "My pet can eat your pet!" lol

Problem in Texas was legality of F1 / F4 like we were wanting. F6 was the only house legal Savannah for Texas.

Nice cat! I hope you have loads of scratching posts and cat trees with that crew around.

I've wanted either a Burmese or an oriental shorthair for the longest time, but am worried that my current cat will hate me for all eternity if I get another. My current one is rotten, so he would not enjoy having another furry sibling to share our attention with.

Diamond is gorgeous. Planning on getting a low-mid content once we own a house.

Looks like your kitten is growing up fast. Mine are too :(

Diamond's pic got me to look up wolfdogs. Some beautiful creatures out there! I hit on a site with some very flashy high-contents (and, by then, I had some idea of what kind of huge commitment these dogs can be), when BF walked by:

"What are those? Wow. They're beautiful!"
me: "Dogs that are mostly wolf."
    "Wow. ...you wanna get one?"

Sigh. He doesn't want a BP in the house, but a wolf? Yeah, that sounds like a good idea!

Heh yeah they don't like sitting in the proper order anymore. At the moment we are up to 6 permanent cats and 3 fosters. Crazy house somedays. at least we are keeping the retic count low at only 11 ;)

You sound like me lol. My fiance told me I was only allowed to have three cats, but I weaseled my way into four. He also told me he didn't want more than a couple tanks. But now that he has actually held a bp and gone to a reptile expo I now have a snake/plant room and he's learning how to build incubators and racks XD. Any advice on litter boxes? With that many cats I'm sure you have a few tricks.

We started using large Rubbermaids without lids on them to help with tracking. We also use our laundry utilities room with a cat door in it for the dedicated fecal area. It keeps the odor non existent. We have 5 boxes in that one area and 2 more in the kitten room (giant hamster wheel, cat tree, loads of toys and beds). We also use tractor supply branded litter (paws and claws clumping) at 5 dollars per 25 lb bag of litter it has no odor. Does not dust. And clumps well and is easy to clean. We purchase a couple hundred pounds every other month to make it last between trips out there.

Never thought of using storage containers. There's a Tractor Supply very close to me, sounds like a great deal on litter especially if it works that well. I've been using Tidy Cats 24/h. It does dust quite a bit. Might have to try your litter, would be cheaper too.

We were using clump and seal which was extremely costly by comparison. When we had 1-3 cats, it was manageable, but now we provide litter for 6 cats plus fosters and our litter budget decreased after switching. Every now and then they give us a discount when we buy more than 6 bags at a time (which we usually buy 10 per visit). The last visit, when I asked about a quantity discount buying 10 bags, they offered me 5% off my entire order, which almost paid for tax. Wouldn't hurt to ask at all.

This litter, in my opinion, will be a giant step up from tidy cat.
