We have eggs!!

So my pinstripe I was wondering was gravid or not just laid 6 good looking eggs today!! I'm freaking out since I wasn't prepared for them thinking she wasn't gravid but she is right on time from her pre lay shed. She had her pre lay shed 1/9.....

She was bred to a calico and are pastel orange ghost she is hopefully het orange ghost which is what we were told

She was a little hissy moving her off of the eggs, but overall fairly easy. Turns out we have 7 good eggs 😃 her pre lay weight was 1944g on 2/9 and after lay she is 1388g.

I put about 1.5 inches of perilite with water....hope that isn't too much. There is press and seal on the top. Let me know if I did something wrong.

We cant wait either......the next 60 days are going to be rough.

I was wondering how often I should open the tub and air let some new air in? I have read every 3-5 days

Never until about a week before they hatched, every other day at that point.

Im very happy to announce my female started to eat immediately after laying. she appears to be ravenous and what to eat everything in sight. :D

We are at day 51....hopefully we will be having little babies hatching this week. :D I am so excited, I can't wait to see what we have.
