Final tank! Yay!
After a lot of research and being finicky and spending my hard earned money I think I am finally happy with my tank design and can introduce myself to the forums. I am Mike, and I adopted a full grown normal BP girl.

My overall 30 gallon tank, sliding doors with a lock (because I'm that paranoid) Heat lamp is on the stand.

I have two hides each side, one hide I made myself and coated in aquarium silicone so it doesn't rot.

I have a herpstat 2 which regulates my heat lamp (probe suctioned on side) and thg heat tape which is under the cave outside the terrarium (probe sandwiched between glass and heat tape). I have a temp gun to spot check internal temperatures. Along with a hygroset II (small black device below) to monitor temperature and humidity on the cool side. I have plexiglass on top to hold in humidity.

I have cypress mulch bedding. The tubing by the water dish is fresh humid air being delivered into the aquarium by my tropic aire, since I closed off most of the openings.
Any suggestions both functional and aesthetics would be appreciated, but I am happy so far!

Welcome to the forums! I hope you enjoy your new snake. :)
The tank looks awesome, I love the chest hide. :P
Any chances of snake pictures?

Your baby will love that antler come shed time. Tank looks good for a first build! I can't wait to see it evolve over time! Welcome to the addiction...err... forum!
Btw good job. Ive seen you asking from a-z before making it happen. Always worth the wait!

Looks nice, sounds like you've got everything under control. Does the Tropicaire go into a stone into the water bowl? If so you may have the first BP with a Jacuzzi ever! LOL

Final tank! Yay!
Thanks everyone! Snake pictures to come!
As for the humidifier, almost a jacuzzi but not yet haha
Here is an image off the net how it works, the only thing in the actual terrarium is a tube with holes in them to release air. The stone bubbler is in the humidifier. Although I thought about how well a bubbler in the water dish would be good for humidity.... just a pain though I imagine tho...

Ah ok, very cool. I could use that on a future frog tank to help with the humidity issues.

It honestly only helps about 10-20% more humidity. I think it's more useful for helping humidity because you can block most openings and not worry about lack of fresh air.

With PDF's that 10 to 20% can make a big difference. I recently lost 2 of mine to, I suspect, the humidity being too low.

Thanks! It was my favourite addition. I actually found them at a craft store (Michaels). They are 10x10 square fake plastic grass mats, I assume people use for fake floral arrangements etc. I used suction cups to hold them in place, but they never fall. The only problem is they were very expensive. Michaels has 40% off coupons weekly, if you use those then its totally reasonable.

Super nice setup. I recently finished mine as well. I also did a few "craft" things with mine. It is really cool and feels good knowing you put a lot of time and effort into it. You had mentioned suggestions, I went to walmart and they have heavy duty black board paper in the craft area that I used to cover the back and sides of my tank to give more privacy. Just an idea but it did seem to make a difference with my BP. It is only 3 bucks for a big sheet. Good job though, the aire/humidifier is really cool, I may look in to getting one.

True! I may cover the sides with black as a little additional privacy!
