I don't really have much to compare to.... or anything to weigh her with right now, so I'm just wondering if she's a little thin... What do you guys think?

Yep, looks fine to me. She's the same length as Pelota at 22 inches currently, and looks about that thick aswell.

Just wondering, what size rodent are you feeding Isis at that size? I'm currently feeding Pelota good sized adult mice, and want to switch her to rats soon, but not sure what size to start her on. I was thinking rat pups, or weanling rats...I'm not good with rodent sizes. :(

Just go with small rats.....they'll start growing like mad once they start eating rats. My 11 month old is eating medium rats already, weighing in at about 2.8 lbs and just over 3' long....no joke, everyone at the store i work at says shes a freak ogre ball python.

    I'll throw in some proof:

    My new girl...
Yeah I was thinking of small rats too..but wasn't sure on the girth of a small rat. She's currently on large adult mice which are the same thickness of her, and she's 5 months old November 8th. I think I got the runt of the litter, lol.

I'm waiting for some extra money to come my way so I can put my order in at mice4you.com. I'll be ordering 5 large mice, 5 weaned rats, and 5 small rats. I figure with that order, it'll get Pelota growing nicely.

Also, nice cage. Where'd you get it at? :)

Mine is currently eatting medium rats, 38 inches in length, wieghs at around 1.8 lbs, and one year old.

Elevatethis; that is one big BP for it to be one year old and 3 feet long. But she looks good.

Uhh... I feed her adult mice, I don't really know when I should switch over to rats... or what size rats I should start with either..

As far as switching goes, there is no pre-determined age. As long as she is big enough to handle the next size up from an adult mouse, go for it. Weaned rats are usually the next step up, in size, from adult mice.
