Wanted to show off my new babies!
So we went to Repticon in Raleigh NC today with no intentions on buying a snake. However, my wife fell in love with a 1.0 normal that was a rescue (2yrs old) and I found my dream bp, a 1.0 spider and he was cheap! (IMO anyway. . . $50) Here are the pics! (If this app lets me post. . .)http://tapatalk.imageshack.com/v2/15...b33cf5b479.jpg http://tapatalk.imageshack.com/v2/15...ad683faa26.jpg

Woke up to this this morning. Also I think I need more holes in this tote because its all fogged up on the sides, but the enclosure beside it with the same holes and a bigger snake isnt steamed up. Does size of snake have anything to do with that? http://tapatalk.imageshack.com/v2/15...896f3f236b.jpg

Hey congrats on the new additions again. I met you all at the burning garage table. Are the water dishes the same size? You can adjust humidity by using different sized bowls. If they are the same size then it's probably just from the snake going in the water bowl and getting the bedding wet

Yeah they are the same size. Its probably just because he's really active. Hes a curious little guy! Lol. http://tapatalk.imageshack.com/v2/15...04643355a6.jpg is this normal behaviour? Both of the snakes I have put in this tank have been all over the thermometer and are always climbing on it. It was nice meeting you, we are heading back over there in just a few mins to pick up more supplies.

Ok I was just curious bc he would like fall off and land kinda hard. I figured since he kept doing it, it wasn't hurting him lol. Thanks!

One last question (for today). I have 2 10gal aquariums side by side. Would it be safe to use 1large uth and put it where its under half of each or no? It would be partly on the plastic in between the aquariums is why I ask. . .

    Nice additions:)

i think one of the tanks was fogged up because the little spider spilled some water (i think i see in the picture that it is wet next to the water bowl)

Congratulations on your new additions. Yes, you can do that with the UTH, just make sure that you continue to monitor the temperatures in both tanks.

I'm pretty sure that the girl in the purple shirt is the same one that dumped some hissing cockroaches in my hand, to hold, as part of a bet. The two things that I hate the most are clowns and cockroaches. But, just because I held some cockroaches, doesn't mean that my next thing is to hug a clown...

Ok. I didnt know if I could and since the heaters that were sold to me were the rainforest ones and they arent getting very hot I just put the small one on the 10g and the large one on the 20l . I have heat lamps on the other 10g bc thats what ive always had on her. The air temp in the 2 with the mats seems to be staying at 75 but the mat temp is like 85 so I think that will work. Gonna wrap the lids 3/4 with foil to retain heat and moisture. They all seem to be happy and healthy. Our normal shed while we were there yesterday, we didnt even know she was ready to shed again. Thanks for all of the help from everyone here and everyone that was at the show, I learned alot and will probably be ready for another purchase in June lol. I may just save up for a rack system and get rid of all these tanks.

And as far as the cockroaches go, I stayed away from them. I stayed away from bugs, arachnids, anything bigger than me (and since I was in a wheelchair that was a LOT) and bunnies.
