Thanks everyone for the great comments! I'm very excited for this pairing, actually my first breeding season !

To answer your question Joe, there pvc piping with a plastic cup (i'm sure theres an official name for the piece but I don't know it). The cup fits perfectly into the pvc piping. Works great, I havn't had any bowls tip over since i've switched over to this method. Also makes it real easy to change water bowls, I have extra's and I just fill up a new plastic cup and remove the one that was in the bin to be washed.
You could always just buy a longer piece of pvc piping and have it cut into the size you want. Would probably save some money, I bought mine seperately and they go for about 3$ a piece.
Heres a picture of the two parts.

figured that it was no pipping.. because to the lines in the middle of the pipe. none the less, ill switch to this, i think its cheaper than buying ceramic water bowls.
    thanks a lot guys

will and ordinary 5" pipe work as well? i just have to cut it depending on how deep my cups are.

    I don't see why it wouldn't work.

I use to use ceramic bowls but what a pain to clean this huge stack of ceramic bowls. With the plastic cups they stack up nice and weigh close to nothing!

Wait till its time to change the water bowls! So much easier and consumes less time.

I'm kinda new to this whole breeding thing (ok I'm just researching) but quick reality check is a lock a kinda like sexual embrace meaning big chance of reproduction.

    :confusd:

A lock is pretty much sexual intercourse between two snakes.
