Which Coral Glow Looks More Likely to be Het for Pied?
I hatched these two coral glow males from a het pied female, so they are both 50% possible het for pied. I have my own opinion on which one looks more likely to be het for pied, but I am curious to see if you guys agree with me. I appreciate any input!

Thank you for all your replies! Glad to hear almost everyone shares my opinion that coral glow #2 looks likely to be het for pied. He is my intended keeper from the clutch, and I thought I saw "het pied" markers on him as soon as he came out of the egg but wanted to make sure it wasn't just my imagination or wishful thinking. Anyway, I do have a visual pied female that will be big enough to breed in a few more months, and I hope to prove this guy out with her and hopefully produce a pied coral glow or two. In any case, I will post on this thread and let you all know if he does indeed prove het for pied. Thanks for all your input! :)

    Eggs at long last!
Well, it's been almost two years since I started this thread, and I FINALLY have six good eggs from him and the pied female! Coral glow pieds are way more common now, but I'm still excited to see whether he will prove out as het pied!

I'd ask Kevin from nerd because he has alot of het pied stuff floating in his collection and he says het pied can affect some morphs patterns when it shouldn't be and he seems to know alot about het pied stuff

He's out of the egg now, and I'm very pleased with how he looks! He is actually the only visual pied in the whole clutch. The others are 1.0 coral glow het pied and 0.4 het pied. It would have been fun to have more than one visual pied, but oh well.... I got what I wanted most out of this clutch, which was to prove the sire het for pied and to produce a male coral glow pied! I'm definitely keeping him!
