If by Someone you mean "Mother Nature" then yes. The most I did to those pics was sharpen & crop them.

Sorry if that came out hostile...I've gotten a few emails from folks accusing me of tweaking these photos, so I'm a little hypersensitive right now.

Btw, is it male or female?

He's a male het-albino blood, and the "cornerstone" of several breeding projects I'm working on at the moment. My goal is to produce babies that look like him, as well as albinos, striped albinos, tiger bloods & tiger albinos with his influence.

P.S. His name is "Rojo Loco"...RoLo for short. ;)

Crazy Red ... I like it. He really does have stunning coloration. What's his locality? How old is he?

And btw, I am sure smulkin meant Mother Nature bumped up his saturation. As far as I can recall, neither your integrity nor your photos have ever been in question here.

RoLo is beautiful Kara. Great blood.
Great luck on your breeding projects, if someone is to pull it off, I know it would be you
    Congrats

Thanks Marla...he's just a hair under 2 years old & of Sumatran descent.

I agree w/ you re: Smulkin...like I said, I'm just a bit hypersensitive right now. I mean, wait & wait & wait & wait to find the "perfect" red blood, go off a hunch when he's a tiny little wiggle-worm...grow him up for two years, try to share him with like-minded folks & get an email saying "those pics are Photoshopped"?!?!?!?!?!?

Makes me want to bang my head against the wall some days.

    Thanks for understanding!

LOL! N000! Didn't think anyone would take it that way ("beauty" vs pic)

Of course I meant mother nature - the color shots in the paper in the background are a nice baseline for that.

I thought Sumatran, but I haven't put much time into studying the localities, so I didn't have confidence in my guess. He is going to produce some amazing offspring for you, and looks like he'll have a long time to do it, too. :)

I know that there are other sites where Photoshopping is brought up when pics are stunning -- often deservedly, depending on the poster -- and it's very frustrating when you truly do have a great pic of a stunning animal and are called into question because of the behavior of others.
