    Creature cubby / hide options?
My BP is probably between 400-500 grams, and I need to get him larger hides. From the sticky on this forum I figured I would get two of the Large Zilla Creature Cubbys, but I can't find them available anywhere online, any suggestions?

The site linked in the sticky is not a functional site anymore from what I could tell.

The Reptile Basics hides are perfect: http://www.reptilebasics.com/hide-boxes

The medium sized hides will suit your BP well until the 1000 gram range. :gj:

Well I really like the pre-cut boxes from Zilla or Reptile basics, cause you know exactly what you are getting, and what size snake they should accomodate... but I can't find anywhere to purchase them -.-

So i have reptile basics old hides which are WAY better than their new ones. The new ones came warped and have a big stamp on the inside that says made in Pakistan. Its rough to so could rub against your ball when it is inside. I since have switched over to Neodesha hides you can buy at the bean farm. By far the best hides out there IMO.

Interesting, I just bought a couple of the reptile hides on 12/22 and they do not have this at all.

Maybe they switched back or something. Their old ones had the same smooth pebble texture on the outide same as the Neodesha hides. The ones i got mid 2014 from them were made of a softer plastic and had no texture on the outside. I got three of these smooth Pakistan hides from them and they were so warped that they refunded my money. Maybe i wasnt the only one complaining.

either way i found the sizes of the Neodesha to be more thought out. Dont get me wrong Reptile Basics has always done me right as i have ordered from them a few times purchasing different things.

Those look great, at 450 grams should I get two mediums and two larges for when hes bigger or just go with large?

I'd get both sizes. They're generally more comfortable in tighter hides, so mediums are good now. Also, you're going to need the larges eventually so might as well save on shipping now.

Haven't seen those nodesha hides before but does anyone have estimated weight to size for them? My hides that I currently own are similar to reptile basics but I'd be open to try new ones

I usually get my stuff shipped from LLL. And they have the black hide boxes you're looking for I think :3

Those hides from lll reptile look to be the same as the my old ones from reptile basics. I looked at my Neodesha hides this morning and here is my recomendation:

    small: 0-400grams
    medium: 400-900grams
    large:900-1500grams
xlarge: to big to even deal with. My big females dont have hides.
