Pics of a few of my 04 girls
Those gals are awesome. I especially like the first one, with the minimal spotting. Those will be some stunning albino babies that they have..

I have a question, I've seen the term before, but what does proving meen in regards to breeding? Thanks!

it means proving that the snake in question actually has the gene that it is a possible het for. the snakes pictured here are possible 50% het for albinos, so in order to prove them as actual 50% hets, they would have to produce albino babies--if they produce albino babies they have been proved.

Actually, that would prove them to be 100% hets. Otherwise, all true. :)

Fun to see all the '04 springtime babies growing up so fast........My January hatchling is about 3'4" and weighs in at about 2.8 lbs, however many grams that is...She ate her first medium rat last week, got it down with no stuggle at all.

So if you bred 50% albino hets with an albino and there were albino's in the liter then it would be proved? If you bred a granite with an 100% albino het, what would you get?

If you bred a 50% possible het with an albino and there were albino's in the litter, the het would be proved. The proven 50 % possible het would then be a 100 % het for albino.

As for your granite situation...I'm not quite sure. I'm not exactly sure what you're referring to as grantie, but I'm sure one of the breeders can give you a better idea.

I'm talking about a granite ball, basicly a normal one with granite flecks on the patches.

and if I bred it with another regular BP, then the liter would consist of all regulars, right?

Thanks guys they are all special to me .. they are all around the 500 gram mark as of now Ive not been pushing them at all and are around 30 or so inches in length
Granite is a dominant gene so if you bred a granite to a normal female you would get granites and normals if you bred a granite to a 100% het albino you would get 50% possible het for albinos with some showing granite
