Did anyone catch the game last night?i'm sooo glad boston won?

Boston won?? I should know that, I'm about a half hour away! lol, I'm not a fan of any sport, but I'm glad they won :-D Now I won't have to listen to my entire class complain on Monday (they're all avid Sox fans... being from Boston and all :) )

Was a very good game! Lot's of offense that's for sure. Would have been a much better outcome if the Cardinals would have won but there are 6 possible games left. Taint over till Roseanne Barr sings.

Now Goooooooooooooooooooooooo Cards!

They can win 1 .. thats just fine. Now the good news is that St. Louis will win the next 4 and the Series will be over :D

Last nights game was alot closer than it should have been...but good none the less.
The only downfall is in the middle of our rally, we get it tied 9-9 with one out, then rolen hits an infield flyout, then Jim Edmonds gets struck out looking

Strike two was questionable(probably 1-2 inches off the inside of the plate)...

Strike three?!?! what was that ump looking at...the ball was 4 inches off the inside coner, and he wasn't giving pitchers that corner ALLL NIGHT.....HORRRRRIBLE call :\

but whatever.....boston will go down

Since my Braves fell out of contention, I was really hoping for an Astros-Sox matchup to match the presidential race. That was gonna be fun. ;)

All I can prety much hope for is that the "Curse of the Bambino" kicks in. And that would have to start tomorrow....

*cry* man it was so sad in my class the next day (me being from ny and all) but i didn't care cuz i don't watch too much baseball i just cheer because i like ny(in some ways) and we got free donuts from the boston fan teacher from europe lol. oh yeah i also think they have some cool fitted hats.

I might be the biggest NY Yankees fan we have here, but the way that the Red Sox played in the last 8 games was beyond belief. Congrats to them!

i didn't think it would be possible to say this at any point during our season

but the cardinals got dominated

the sox deserved that championship :D

Yeah, I'd have to agree.
I miss hockey, I haven't even watched baseball since the Yanks lost.

I hope the curse continuses too, they deserve to suffer. :shock:
