    if you want nice photos .. especially ones you can print out nicely I would go for something with atleast 4 megapixels the nikon cool pix line has some great little cameras in the 200-300$ range as does canon most of the nikons in that range have a very good macro mode Photography is a hobby for me and I wanted a camera I could sorta grow in to it is my fisrt slr type camera and I will never go back to point and shoot types....ever!
