LOL cool pics !
i dunno what im doin for halloween, prolly go to some party.Or go around town (with no costumes) looking at everyone.
-
We might go to a party too.... my friend Jeff will be throwin a party cuz he'll be home from college. Hehe, there's an old Insane Asylum about 45 minutes away from my house... of course, it's trespassing to go on it, but we might go there... i tried going last year on Devil's Night but i chickened out. it's REALLY creepy!
What's everyone doin for Halloween?
-
wow that sounds like alot of fun. me and my friend used to sneak into houses that were bein built in our neighborhood and just chill out in there.
-
And a merry Samhain to you too :)
I'm going to attend a pagan event on campus, a few days earlier. I can't acutally go to any of the weekend long festivities this year, since I have the fundamentals of engineering exam on the 30th. I'm not looking forward to 8 hours of engineering problems.
I've picked up a pumpkin, but I haven't carved it yet. We'll see how many trick or treater's I get this year.
I could say "happy new year", but I don't celebrate Samhain as the new year. If you have no idea what I'm referring to, try going to http://www.circlesanctuary.org :)
-
I dont get any trick or treaters.... :( its so sad, i live on a main road and the kids in the neighborhood behind me dont come up here. also, the houses are sorta spaced apart, so we dont have many kids in general.
i went trick or treating last year, but i think that was my last year. mmm i love candy though!!!!
carving pumpkins is awesome. i love scooping out the brains, BWAHAHAHAHAHA!
-
You find it sad that you don't have trick-or-treaters? Thats a blessing. You don't have to dish out money for chocolates and candies to hand out to the grubby little brats. I don't mind it though. I just think of how happy I am that I don't have to put up with the sugar highs they'll be on for the next week like their parents have to put up with. :)
I love kids. Don't get me wrong. I just don't like spending 30 dollars on candy to hand out in 3 hours. Especially when I could have it all to myself.
Oh, and I'm not doing anything for Halloween, as usual. I used to really like it, but now I'm older, and my friends are all older and doing their own thing, so pfft. Hopefully age doesn't ruin my love for christmas any time soon like it did with halloween. :(

Oh yeah, my group of friends usually gets together and plans a special night of rpgs and we usually get dressed up. This year, I think the theme is anime characters. I'm not sure if I'll attend, as it will probably be after I've taken the FE...I will probably be completely brain dead and probably wanting nothing more than to get completely trashed.
I expect I"ll get some trick or treater's, as kids live across the driveway from me and across the street. I expect to have candy left over though
-
Cool pics! I nearly forgot it was a black sabbath this year. I bet some of the local folks get their panties all twisted in a bunch about that. I think we're going to see Dillinger Escape Plan and Every Time I Die that night.
-
Happy Halloween and merry Samhaim to those who celebrate them. :) Each of my daughters will be celebrating one of them -- fortunately that is easy enough to manage. We shouldn't have any trick or treaters at all, because every kid in the neighborhood -- other than mine and the one boy next door -- belongs to a hyper-religious protestant family (4 of them). After recent events in our neighborhood, I won't even be turning on the stoop light that evening.
-
i'm goin' to a reptile show! :D woohoo! my first really big show--the one in greenville. i'll be wearing my b-p.net shirt, so look for the crazy girl tearing through the place like a kid on christmas morning attempting to collect every herp possible while her fiance tries desperately to hold her down and prevent their apartment from becoming an absolute herp madhouse. heeheeheeehaahaahaaaamwaahaahaaaaa!!! :P

I love halloween. This year I was thinking about running around with my paintball gun, taking out the "too old for trick or treating" teenagers. We'll have to see though...
-
Hehe careful - one of us fathers of them "too old" kids might wind up comin after ya . . .

I don't do anything on Halloween... I'm a loser, lol. I went to Salem last year... but, well, I guess I don't know how to have fun 'cause it kinda stunk :? ... ah well, I just like the leftover candy anyhow. You'd think a horror-movie loving person like myself would make a point out of doing something on Halloween, lol

hey now... maybe i'll use my paintball gun and shoot you back!! watch our for me lurking in the bushes....

sounds fun!
they really should make a national paintball day... a day where anyone with a paintball gun can shoot anyone else with one... that would be too much fun.
really tho, i just plan on gettin the troublemakers... (ie. pumpkin smashers, eggers, candy theives) we get alot of that round here...
-
I HATE pumpkin smashers. We do 'Pumpkin Masters' every year (since about 10 yrs. ago) and they are favorite targets for the 'smashers'...makes me so mad cuz we spend so much time carving them! I think maybe I'll go out an' get meself a paintball gun this year--thanks for the great idear!!
-
lol!!! take pics, i wanna see the big bad teenagers running away after you nail them a few times!!
im not a pumpkin smasher, i promise. :floating:
-
Aboreal ball python???
I just ordered a new digi (finally!!) so I'll be sure to take some pix!! he hee he
-
About the paintball thing...I was hoping to have a paintball gun by Halloween so I could hide and wait for the troublemakers that egg and smash our stuff. Sadly, I don't have any extra cash between now and Halloween for that paintball gun I so badly want. :(
Hmm...although I do have a nice slingshot. And paintballs aren't that expensive. It'd be slower, but I could still pull it off, lol. Nice..
-
forget the slingshot and get some of these:
paint grenades
http://www.mlededee.com/pics/grenade.jpg
and paint mines
http://www.mlededee.com/pics/mine.jpg
you can booby trap your entire yard and then lie in wait with the grenades. mwahahahaaaa!
-
-
haha Ive seen the gernades, but mines??? that is just too cool
-
hee hee, yeah. they use them a lot in military training. they make a nice loud bang, with smoke, paint and everything. good stuff.
-
oh boy.... stay off my lawn from now on!!!!
-
hmmm
I'm going trick-or-treating.
